Glad you asked! We have a group that play 9 holes 2 days a week, agroup of women (with a few men) who play Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We also have a couples league on Sunday called Giggles. This fall will we start our monthly ladies 9 hole games for prizes. Check out the golf games below on this page.
THE WAGA MEMBERS GOLF GROUPS:
You don't have to belong to WAGA to play with them.
About the Giggles Group...
This group is made up of couples who pay $1/person to play. It usually a basic 9-hole scramble but the couple in charge each week adds fun twists. We put two couples together, trying to always mix up teams, and each team tries to win the day. We meet afterward in the Grille to eat, drink and award our meager winnings to the lowest scoring teams of the day. We also use this time to laugh and complain about those interesting twists to the game. You need to sign up to be considered to play each week. We usually pass a notebook around the table signifying our plans to play the following week. If you are interested in playing with us, let the ProShop know and they will connect you with the right people.
About the 9 AM Group...
This group plays Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
The group has mostly women with a couple husbands thrown in. and could never come up with an original name. They toss up balls to determine who plays together out of the ones who show up. We play 18 holes and pay a $2 fee/person. Scores are kept by at least 1 person in each team and them compared to their Course handicap when back at the Clubhouse.Â
Let the ProShop know you want to play with them and they will set you up on GroupMe where they sign up each day.
About the 9 Holers Group...
This group golfs their own ball for 9 holes and then goes out to lunch together.
Let the Proshop know you want to play with them and they will set you up.
